Given anti-abortion and anti-contraception policymakers' propensity for manipulating and conflating the facts, state legislators in SiX’s network were provided with the information to feel confident in their knowledge and prepared to combat any misinformation or legislative attacks in their statehouses.

State Innovation Exchange and the Guttmacher Institute hosted a webinar for legislators and state advocates to discuss preparing for the 2025 state legislative sessions. State reproductive health, rights, and justice advocates highlighted which policies were passed in 2024 and how to prepare for 2025, including both proactive and defensive work. Speakers included Briana Perry from Healthy and Free Tennessee, Michelle Erenberg from LIFT Louisiana, and Anatasia Martinez from the Ohio Women’s Alliance.
