Join National Advocates for Pregnant Women (NAPW), If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice, and Maryland Delegate Nicole Williams for a timely conversation about the criminalization of pregnancy and abortion, including self-managed abortion.

National Advocates for Pregnant Women (NAPW) has provided legal defense and strategic advocacy on behalf of people criminalized because of their pregnancies and pregnancy outcomes for over 20 years.

If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice works to transform the law and policy landscape through advocacy, support, and organizing. If/When/How runs the Repro Legal Defense Fund and the Repro Legal Helpline.

Del. Nicole Williams (she/her) represents Maryland’s 22nd district. She introduced The Pregnant Person’s Freedom Act of 2022 to establish that civil or criminal charges can’t be pursued against people who experience miscarriages, stillbirths or who use abortion services.
