Toolkit: Fighting Back Against Anti-Abortion Propaganda in Schools
This toolkit was designed in a coalition space and was created to inform and equip state legislators living in states that have enacted laws that attempt to require students to view medically inaccurate, anti-abortion propaganda as part of public school sex or health education. These laws – known as “fetal development laws” or “Baby Olivia” – are the anti-abortion movement's strategy to indoctrinate youth with the harmful concept of fetal personhood. Defining personhood from the moment of conception allows for the criminalization of pregnancy outcomes, and undermines bodily autonomy and the right to abortion care.
