The National Health Law Program (NHeLP) has put together these Talking Points to Defend Medicaid to address proposed attacks on Medicaid by Congress in 2025.
The attacks include adding harmful work requirements, excluding specific communities like immigrants, and defunding abortion providers who provide wrap-around sexual and reproductive health services like Planned Parenthood.
